Serving Nigeria is My Worst NightMare-Orubebe

A former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, has told the Code of Conduct Tribunal that he regretted serving the country as a minister.

Orubebe said this on Wednesday while testifying at the tribunal during his trial.
Orubebe said it was unfortunate that he served the country for over six years only to be put on trial for alleged non-declaration of assets.

He said: “I love this country and I served as a minister with all my heart and to the best of my ability.

NASU OAU OCCUPIES SENATE BUILDING

The Non Academic Staffs Union of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has taken to the street of the University and Occupying the Senate building of the university.

The Union decided to disturb the activity of a book launch in honour of the university Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Idowu Omole whose tenure in office ends soon.

The NASU as well demonstrated last year against the misappropriation of fund from the senate building and demanded for the payment of their allowance.
